The Denver Broncos won't try to re-sign defensive lineman Adam Gotsis, allowing him to hit free agency, according to Denver reporter Mike Klis.
Gotsis, a second-round pick in 2016, played in nine games last season before landing on injured reserve with a knee injury with two weeks left in the season.
He had ACL surgery in December.
Gotsis, 27, had played in every game over his first three seasons before his knee injury.
In 57 career games (28 starts) Gotsis has 109 tackles, 5.0 sacks and 13 passes defensed.
Born in Melbourne, Australia, Gotsis came to the U.S. to play football at Georgia Tech in 2012, playing for the Yellow Jackets through 2015.
