PARIS, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- China's Wang Xinyu moved into the second round of qualifying at the French Open with a staight-set win over Robin Anderson of the United States.
The 18-year-old reeled in her American opponent 6-4, 6-2 in 79 minutes to set up a second-round qualifying meeting with local player Tessah Andrianjafitri, a 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 winner over Spain's Nuria Parrizas.
Wang dominated the second set breaking Anderson in the fifth and seventh game. ■
