Former All-Pro defensive tackle Damon Harrison wants to play this season and will meet with the Seattle Seahawks next week, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Thursday.
Harrison, 31, has also received interest from the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers and Cincinnati Bengals, per the report.
He started 15 games for the Detroit Lions last season, registering 49 tackles, three passes defensed and two sacks. The Lions released him in February.
Last December, he told the NFL Network's Stacey Dales that he was considering retirement. "At this point everything's on the table," he said. "My mind's still telling me I can do it, but my body's just not there."
Harrison was a first-team All-Pro choice with the New York Giants in 2016 and has played in 117 games (111 starts) with the New York Jets (2012-15), Giants (2016-18) and Lions (2018-19). He has 485 tackles, 37 tackles for loss and 11 sacks.
