New Delhi [India], July 11 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly appointed youth in various Government departments and organisations on July 12 at around 11:00 AM via video conferencing.
According to the Prime Minister's Office, PM Modi will also address the appointees on the occasion.
Reacting to this, Prime Minister Modi posted on X, and emphasized that the government is determined to increase youth participation in building a 'Viksit and Atmanirbhar' Bharat.
'We are determined to enhance the participation of young friends in building a developed and self-reliant India. In this series, tomorrow, July 12, at 11 AM, I will participate in another employment fair through video conferencing, where thousands of youths will be handed appointment letters,' PM Modi said.
Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilment of Prime Minister's commitment to accord highest priority to employment generation. The Rozgar Mela will play a significant role in providing meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in nation building. More than 10 lakh recruitment letters have been issued so far through the Rozgar Melas across the country.
The 16th Rozgar Mela will be held at 47 locations across the country. The recruitments are taking place across Central Government Ministries and Departments. The new recruits, selected from across the country, will be joining the Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Posts, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Labour & Employment among other departments and ministries.
As per the information given by PIB, more than 10 lakh recruitment letters have been issued so far through the Rozgar Melas across the country, and the 16th Rozgar Mela will be held at 47 locations across the country.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to New Delhi on Thursday morning after concluding his five-nation tour that spanned from July 2 to 9. The diplomatic journey covered Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil, and Namibia, and included his participation in the 17th BRICS Summit held in Rio de Janeiro under Brazil's chairmanship.
