Seth Brown is in search of a new team after the Arizona Diamondbacks released the veteran outfielder and first baseman on Sunday.
A seven-year pro who spent the majority of his career with the Athletics, Brown joined the Diamondbacks on a minor league deal after he was released by the Athletics earlier this season. The 33-year-old was batting .291 with six home runs for Triple-A Reno at the time of his release, including a two-homer game on Friday.
Brown struggled with the Athletics to open the season, hitting just .185 with one home run and three RBIs in 38 games.
For his career, Brown is batting .226 with 74 homers and 233 RBIs.
