In another dominant offensive showing, No. 6 Oregon cleaned house and sent Oklahoma State packing with a dominating 69-3 win in Eugene, Ore on Saturday afternoon.
The Ducks (2-0) once again came out firing on all cylinders, scoring touchdowns on six of their seven first-half drives and finishing with 631 total yards.
Starting quarterback Dante Moore finished with 266 yards passing, completing 16 of his 21 passes to go with three touchdowns.
The Ducks also got it going on the ground early as Noah Whittington broke free for a 59-yard rushing touchdown on the second play from scrimmage. Jayden Limar similarly got into space for a 53-yard run later in the first.
Whittington and Limar combined for 178 yards on the ground with a touchdown apiece, good for 17.8 yards per carry.
Moore followed up Whittington's touchdown on the very next Oregon play with a deep 65-yard touchdown to Dakorien Moore to make it 13-0 after a missed extra point.
While it was nothing but easy sailing for Oregon, Oklahoma State (1-1) had just three drives which lasted longer than four plays, and had fewer first downs (9) than Oregon had total touchdowns (10).
Cowboys quarterback Zane Flores filled in for injured Hauss Hejny, who broke his foot in the season opener. Flores was 7-for-19 with 67 yards and two third-quarter interceptions that were returned for touchdowns.
In a span of three plays, Flores threw the first to Jerry Mixon who returned it 26 yards, and then the next to Peyton Woodyard who took it back 30 yards.
The Cowboys' lone score on the day came after a 16-play, 69-yard drive, ending with a 23-yard field goal by Logan Ward early in the second quarter.
The Ducks continued their onslaught the rest of the first half with scores via a 19-yard scamper from Dierre Hill Jr., another long 42-yard touchdown pass from Moore to Malik Benson, an end-around 25-yard run from Dakorien Moore and Limar's 5-yard score to go up 41-3 at the half.
Dante Moore finished his day with an 11-yard score to Gary Bryant Jr. that pushed the lead to 48-3.
Redshirt freshman Luke Moga got a shot under center and led the last touchdown drive for the Ducks' offense on the day, which ended in a 1-yard score up the middle for Jordon Davison.- Field Level Media
